bv999 is a reading site. It has no accounts, no logins and no wallet, so there is very little about you for it to hold. This notice sets out the little there is.

What is stored on your device

One item: your language choice, kept in the browser's local storage under the key bv999_lang so the page opens in English or Urdu as you left it. It never leaves your device and clearing your browser data removes it. We set no advertising or tracking cookies of our own.

What the server sees

Ordinary web-server logs: IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser string and the referring page. They exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and they are not used to build a profile of you or sold to anyone. If we run privacy-respecting aggregate analytics, it is to count page views, not to follow individuals.

When you leave through a link

Outbound links to an operator carry a tracking parameter so the commission is attributed correctly. It identifies this site, not you. From the moment the operator's page opens, their privacy policy governs everything — including any account, document or payment data you provide them. We never receive it.
